Over 2,000 flee Yemen fighting to Djibouti “More than 2,000 people fleeing hostilities in Yemen have arrived on Djibouti’s shores,” the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said in a social media post on Sunday. The UN’s migration agency added that in Obock, a city only about 20km (12 miles) across the water from the Yemeni coast, it is providing immediate assistance to those arriving, including water and hot meals. “More support is needed,” the IOM added.

How FLIC Trust Scores workFLIC Trust Scores turn community ratings into a 0–100 signal about how readers assess a story. Fake News votes lower the score, while Liberal, Conservative, and Independent classifications support it. The formula also rewards a balanced split between Liberal and Conservative ratings instead of treating one political viewpoint as automatically more trustworthy. Scores can change as more people vote and represent community judgment, not a factual verdict or substitute for reading the original reporting. Learn more about how FLIC works.
