Major earthquake kills at least 19 in the Philippines
At least 19 people have died after a powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake rocked the Philippines on June 8. It was the most powerful quake to strike the country this year, with the southern port city of General Santos among the hardest hit. The earthquake was centered at sea at a depth of 33 kilometres.
